Love that tune....Lets look at a wall at Yale.
Except it is not really a wall. There lies the feature and point of this post
This wall is actually 5 integrated refrigerators. An integrated product differs from regular counter depth refrigeration, because even the door fits within the cabinet. This is a hot new trend and brands like SubZero and Thermador are the main players, because it is seamless and thus hidden from sight. Even though I am the ultimate appliance cynic, I really find this style attractive.
This picture is the Thermador Freedom columns, which allow the refrigerator and freezer to be placed anywhere independently in the kitchen....(hence the name)
I saw your blog on Erika Powells. She was right- this is great! I have just purchased a Viking cook-top, and then I saw a picture of a LaCourne (sp?) range in a magazine. I loved the way it looked, but how do they preform? Can you tell me anything about them? Thank you for all your information!

I love the look of the unit..La Cornu is natural convection or` proper air movement without a fan
ReplyDeleteIt is, however, designed for Europeans with smaller ovens(they cook smaller dishes more often)..
Thus products like La Cornu have never been popular in the US. But it is worth a look.....
BTW, thank you very much for the compliment and welcome to the Yale Blog
