Recently, Viking actually improved this line by dialing down the style and improving the price...For $8700, you have an interesting suite of appliances, range, dishwasher (now produced by Viking, not Asko), microwave and refrigerator (actually still manufactured by Whirlpool).
Not half bad...
thank you for your post. we have looked at viking but were told by the seller that he would not sell us a viking fridge but let someone else in the store because too many customers have complaints of break down. what do you think about electrolux icon line??
ReplyDeleteAre there any french door refrigerators under $4000 without cheapo plastic drawers? Shocked by the low quality plastic drawers in Electrolux and GE at $3000+.
ReplyDeleteAK Magnolia: I am not personally keen on Viking, but this line is manufactured by Whirlpool so it is ok
ReplyDeleteAnonymous, unfortunately, the crispers seem similar
If you could put together a suite of appliances, not necessarily of the same manufacturer, range, fridge, dishwasher, microwave what would they be and do you recommend the venting micro? I'm not sure I want this but the option would be to get some type of vent, which I think I like better in the chimney version. I'm think somewhere mid to high mid price range. thanks
ReplyDeleteTough to answer that question....I like going with the same brand because they will match and rebates are geometric.
ReplyDeleteI always look at Frigidaire, Bosch, Electrolux and Viking for that reason and in that order for expense

If you are looking for anything specific...I can certainly render an opinion
