Rachels' Question

In the comments field, a woman by the name of Rachel asked about how air is replaced with high CFM blowers. Basically, as I understand it, if a blower is 1200 CFM(meaning 1200 cubes of air are being filtered out of your home), where does the new air come from?

The quick answer is from other rooms. According to codes, you have to have windows in your house and air will inevitably infiltrate through those areas.

A house can be built to be air tight. It is extremely unusual. In those circumstances, a window must open automatically to allow air into the room when a vent is activated.

Good question, Rachel and thank you to Peter Fallon of Fallon Custom Homes for assisting me with the answer
