Refrigerators
JennAir was actually the first company to actively market a french door refrigerator. Of course now there is GE, GE Cafe, GE Profile, KitchenAid, Samsung, Frigidaire, Electrolux, LG, Bosch and Maytag to name a few, so it is not quite an advantage as it was previously.
Downdraft Ranges
Still a proprietary item....The downdraft is within the range, and the only alternative is a hood, which is not a good idea in a replacement scenario.
I am a huge fan of Jenn Air appliances. I have been servicing them since 1995 and have always appreciated how well they were made. These new models look increasingly difficult to service however.
