Your New Bulbs(In About 2-5 Years)
Have a peek at these flood bulbs....They fit a normal socket. Instead of 50-60 watt, these LED bulbs use only 2-3 watt for the same lumen equivalent. The light is still bluish and not ready for normal residential application.....Not yet.

Impressive stuff. So do you think the cost per bulb will be similar to the prices charged for energy efficient bulbs when they first appeared?
ReplyDeleteWhen new technologies are pioneered by new companies, the prices start high. However, in the long run, technology will become commoditized and less expensive
ReplyDeleteIn other words, yes for now.... in 5-10 years. LED will be become more affordable
