New Website

Our website is pretty average at best. We are launching a new one next week with improved navigation as well as blog and podcast integration. If you want to look at the beta site, simply cut and paste the link below

Um, there's this browser called "Firefox", might want the new site to work with that.

  2. This will be corrected before launch next week. I only use FireFox myself so I am working with the developer to make sure it is fully compatible. Thank you for the "bug report".

  4. Lets not be so self serving.....

Dryer duct fires cause 42 deaths per year....This could be prevented by periodically cleaning ducts.

Metal ducts are also safer than plastic....

Steve, I would delete the link in the dryer duct cleaning post. No need to ruin your or Yale's good reputation making it seem as if you are endorsing the company.

  6. I thought about it....

I would rather not moderate any comments...People can read and hopefully ascertain honest questions.

Plus, if you clean and install metal ducting, there is no need for their services. It will cost about $20 in materials

I appreciate the feedback and trust me my finger hovered on the delete button.

Hmmm...I think you can leave the comment in but remove the link (and even say (ed: link removed).

Personally, I think you should be careful about comment spammers, but that's just me.

  9. Unfortunately since the new blogger rolled out in May 2007, they have disabled the editing of comments, even through the previous hacks that were available. All we can do now is delete the comment. To try and be fair, here is the original comment with the hyperlink deactivated:

    " dryer vent cleaning said...

I searched your blog and didn't find any articles about preventing dryer vent fires. Do you have plans to address the importance of dryer vent cleaning or the savings associated with faster drying times?"
